Help! Unable to close batch program created by shell command in XP

Any idea how to close a batch program created by VB code using the
shell command. It works before under windows NT but now under XP, it
run yet never close. Thanks in advance for you help.

I'm sorry, but these forum can't help you.

You see, the comp.windows.x forum is for the discussion of the X network
protocol, and the graphical windowing environments that use it. This
forum has nothing to do with Microsoft Windows except perhaps discussing
X implementations on that platform.

The comp.windows.x.apps forum is for the discussion of applications that
use the X network protocol to manage or present data in graphical
windowing environments.It too has nothing to do with Microsoft Windows
except for discussing applications that use X in an MSWindows environment.

Your question has nothing to do with X or X applications, and probably
should be asked in one of the comp.os.ms-windows.* newsgroups instead.
