speed up kuickshow display?

Is there any way to speed up the rate at which kuickshow
displays frames (currently ~1/2sec)? I would like to display
the frames at least at 1/sec or even faster. I've also
tried kview, but it seems to be completely manual.

I don't know how, but kuickshow is now working the way I want.
