MPlayer doesn't work with -vo xv option,
after I have installed a new whole system, FreeBSD 4.10 RELEASE.

-vo xv option *worked* fine on systems below.
It went to Fullscreen Mode without any problems.

-vo xv option does NOT work any more on systems below.
Only a plain green window with some horizontal line comes.
If it comes to Fullscreen Mode, a plain green window with
lots of vertical bar is shown up.

-vo x11 option shows good pictures, but it does not go to
Fullscreen Mode. -zoom option is out of choice because it is too slow.

The former system and the latter one were installed to the very same PC.
Only a crushed IDE HDD had been removed and a new one was placed.

Thank you for your help.

This doesn't solve the problem of why xv is broken. It may be that xv
works with XFree86 and doesn't with Xorg. What is the output of xvinfo?
In case xv is really broken the only solution is to install XFree86 in
place of Xorg.
